  • Standardized test scores (if taken)
  • Official secondary/high school and all college transcripts
  • $80 application fee or a fee waiver
  • Items required by the Cornell undergraduate college or school to which you’ve applied.

Minimum GPA: The minimum GPA that is required of all transfer applicants is 2.00. The average GPA for all admitted students is 3.50.

Official Transcript: The official transcript of the secondary school or high school you have attended should be submitted before the application deadline. Note that you might need to necessarily submit the Common Application Secondary School Report. You are expected to send this directly to the school.

SAT Scores: Kindly note that Cornell University has suspended SAT/ACT testing requirements for 2022, 2023 and 2024 applicants. Hence disregard any news or article stating otherwise, except you read directly on the school official admission page.

Letter of Recommendation: Here the official Report with Instruction isn’t necessary, but it is required that you present a report showing your good conduct in a previous institution otherwise known as a testimonial.

Essay: This is necessary for those who want to apply for a transfer. The essay is due on the common application, as well as the supplementary application. 

Application Fee/Fee Waiver: Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $80 as an application fee otherwise called fee waiver in other to be considered. Interview: For students applying to the architecture program, they are required to participate in an interview as part of their admission process. This will begin in August.
