2020 WAEC GCE Registration Form Out – Guidelines

2020 WAEC GCE REGISTRATION FORM

The first series of 2020 WAEC GCE Registration Form is out. The 2020 WAEC GCE 1 Series WASSCE (Private) exams are on offer for WAEC GCE (January / February). The form started to be sold on Tuesday 15 October 2019.

Intending candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2020 – First Series are hereby informed that the registration will commence on 15th October 2019.

The goal is to notify the interested applicants about the fact that in January/ February 2020 the class=”word”>WAEC GCE registration form is on sale. You may register by following the procedures in this article.

To avoid unnecessary errors in registration, the GCE Registration Guidelines for Candidates are published by the West African Review Council. Candidates should follow these guidelines to ensure that they can register online without hitch.

The WASSCE will be an urban study for Private Candidates 2020–First Series. For the test, subjects TWENTY FOUR (24) would be eligible. Therefore, it is strongly encouraged to visit the website of the Council-www.waécnigeria.org-to confirm the review cities and topics available before obtaining the registration PIN.

Candidates should also note that the 2018 WAEC GCE registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the examination centres.

BEGINNING AND DEADLINES OF 2020 WAEC GCE REGISTRATION

WAEC GCE normal registration begun on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, to Sunday, January 12, 2020. The deadline is almost at hand, so hurry up and register if you haven’t.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR 2020 WAEC GCE

What is the WAEC GCE (1st row) amount? Candidates are to pay only a sum of(N13,950) for branches of any of the following banks and accredited agents and to obtain a PIN and VCD information registration.

Candidates will also have to pay the banks / accredited agents the 500 Naira (N500.00) commission.
After obtaining the Registration PIN, candidates should log on to https://registration.waecdirect.org/ for registration.
SPECIAL NEEDS CANDIDATES: Special needs students will also register online like other candidates but will need to make a precise statement about their handicaps e.g. blind, sight-less, spastic, speech, etc. 
REGISTRATION COMPLETION: Students should complete the registration during the registration period within two weeks from first access to the site. Their names, gender, passport photos, birth dates and subjects should be correct. The admission notice/photo card must also be printed as proof of successful registration that serves as the identification of the examination. Photo Card also includes the results checker PIN. For fingerprint registration, only digital personal scanners should be used.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
  • Candidates should view the Information VCD before they register for the examination.
  • Candidates should note that registration fee is not refundable.
  • Candidates should print the examination Timetable at the completion of their registration.
  • Entries must be uploaded with good quality passport size photographs, not “wait and get” photographs. The background of such photographs MUST NOT BE BLUE OR RED. The size should be 275 by 314 pixels. Entries with unacceptable passport photographs will be rejected.
  • Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses as well as the Timetable for the examination which they can download from WAEC website (http://www.waeconline.org.ng/) using the Registration PIN.
  • Candidates must go to examination halls in mufti and without arms. No professional uniform of any kind will be allowed in the examination halls.
  • The entire results of candidates who sit the examination in more than one centre will be cancelled.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the examination hall.
  • Any candidate that comes into the examination hall with mobile phone(s) and /or electronic gadget(s) will have his or her entire results cancelled.
  • Candidates must ensure that their entries are correctly completed before uploading as the Council will not be held responsible for errors in candidates’ particulars. Request for correction will NOT BE entertained on any information which a candidate voluntarily gives at the point of registration as soon as the examination commences.
  • Candidates must come into the examination hall with their original Photo Cards.
  • Candidates who engage in examination malpractice will not only have their results cancelled but may be prosecuted.
